Introducing Authors
Staying away from the literary scene inside the country, including familiarity with contemporary domestic writers, is one of the less pleasant consequences of living abroad for those who have not made a habit of following this field in a structured manner.
To provide an opportunity for our fellow compatriots residing here to become acquainted with the country's contemporary literary and artistic community, we plan to introduce a writer, literary figure, or artist from within the country each month.
Introducing our fellow Haligonian, Ms. Meh-Kameh Rahimzadeh, as the first in this series is both a gesture of appreciation and a great honour for the Cultural Committee. Her presence in this city and her significant role in establishing connections between the committee and friends inside the country make her a distinguished choice.
We warmly welcome any assistance and collaboration from friends in introducing contemporary writers and the artistic community moving forward. To see the interviews, please visit the Farsi version of this page.
